Mollina hosts the III Meeting of Inclusive Sports

Inclusive sport meeting.

El III Meeting of Inclusive Sports, promoted by the Malaga Provincial Council within the framework of the Adapted to Sports Program, took place last weekend in Mollina and hosted archery competitions; fencing; basketball; badminton; indoor football; powerchair football (in a motorized chair); boccia –a game designed for people with physical disabilities or cerebral palsy- and goalball, a specific sport for blind or visually impaired people. An event co-organized by the Federation of Associations of the Physically and / or Organic Disabled of Malaga (Famf-Cocemfe Malaga) and that was held at the facilities of the Euro-Latin American Youth Center (CEULAJ) and the local Municipal Sports Center.

The meeting lasted for two days and had both athletes and coaches with federative license as with non-federated athletes. Among the attendees stood out the goalkeeper José Manuel Marín, world champion in recurve and Paralympic bow from the 2004 Athens Games to Tokyo 2020; goalkeeper José Luis Hermosín, Paralympic silver in Barcelona 92; Antonio Garrido, team silver at the Fencing World Championship; Martial Navas, runner-up of Europe in badminton or David Arcas Machuca, champion of Spain of 1,500 meters in his class.

On Saturday 6th the first day started from 10:30 am to 8:00 pm; While on Sunday, November 7, the last day was held from 10.20 am with exhibitions and an open day, with a large number of visitors.
