MLB pitcher Max Scherzer discusses Angels, Dodgers contract

Pitcher Max Scherzer could be back in Los Angeles in the 2021 season; it remains to be decided, however, whether he will pitch for the Angels or the Dodgers.

According to Jon Morosi of MLB Network, the 37-year-old right-hander, who has free agent status, is negotiating with the two LA teams

After six and a half seasons with the Washington Nationals, the pitcher’s ace was traded to the Dodgers on July 30 to help the latter in their quest for another championship.

In the regular season, Scherzer had 11 starts for the Dodgers, posting an excellent 1.98 earned run average in 68 innings of work.

Earlier this weekend, baseball informant Jon Heyman reported that he expects Scherzer to announce his decision before Wednesday.
