Great Tournament for those from San Luis who were one step away from the podium, but lost to San Juan by 2 to 1. The silver medal went to Mendoza, who fell in the final against those of the “Docta” by 3 to 0.

The Tennis competition of the XXIII Binational Games of the Andean Integration “Cristo Redentor” ended, which was played at the Aguada Tennis Club, and which had Córdoba as the winner of the tournament by beating Mendoza 3-0 in the final.

The Cordoba team that had Tadeo Gaggiofatto and Tomás Baroni as props, was regular and had a devastating gait.

Baroni defeated Santino Tarantelli by two sets to one, and in the second single Gaggiofatto defeated Juan Pereyra, and in that way it was no longer necessary to play double.

The San Luis team made up of Juan Ignacio Cavallie, Stefano Camilli and Bruno Migliosi, rounded off a good task, brushing against good rivals.

In the match for third place, those led by Daniel Sánchez could not face the San Juan, who defeated them 2 games to 1, in a double for the heart attack.

In the first term Juan Ignacio Cavallie beat Santiago Fuentes, but in the second single, Stefano Camilli fell to Jerónimo Mazzei in 2 sets.

Everything was resolved in the doubles, which remained for the San Juan 6-3 / 4-6 / 9-11.

In women’s tennis the gold also went to Córdoba

Paulina Farchetto and Lourdes Luccatto were overwhelming, before the Mendoza María Josefina Andrade and María Luz Iranzo. It was 3 to 0.

The women’s tournament served as an experience for the young Puntanas tennis players Manuela Crespo, Camila Caballero and Clara Albisu, who fought against much more exalted players and finished eighth.
