Ligue 1 scandal! Bottle hit Payet again – top game Lyon vs. Marseille before the cancellation
There was another scandal in Ligue 1. In the top game between Lyon and Marseille, Payet was hit in the head by a bottle.
The match between Olympique Lyon and Olympique Marseille on matchday 14 of Ligue 1 was overshadowed by an ugly scene and was about to be canceled.
Marseille midfielder Dimitry Payet was hit by a plastic bottle. In the third minute, the midfielder prepared the ball for a corner. A bottle was thrown from a fan block, which Payet hit in the head.

The Frenchman then went down and was treated. Referee Ruddy Buquet then interrupted the game. The interruption lasted over an hour before it was announced that the game would resume.
Both teams had left the field. Payet was also able to go towards the catacombs with an ice pack on his temple.
