Ligue 1, more violence: Lyon-Marseille suspended, bottle on Payet

ROMA – The climate in French football continues to be unbreathable at times. This time the episode of violence occurred after only 5 minutes of the big match between Lyon and Marseille. A turbulent year

This is the seventh episode of fan violence during this year’s Ligue 1. Payet himself had already been hit by a bottle during a match in Nice: the challenge was interrupted with 15 ‘from the end and then replayed behind closed doors on a neutral pitch. The Marseille fans, on the other hand, had become the protagonists of episodes of violence against PSG, with Neymar “armored” by a shield to beat a corner – a scene that was repeated a few days later in Marseille-Lazio with Luis Alberto – and by several invasions field of the fans. According to what reported by RMC Sport, the Lyon fan has already been identified and arrested by the local authorities.
