Leandro Paredes trained normally and could reappear against Brazil

The central midfielder of the Argentine national team Leandro Paredes began to get ready to reappear against Brazil, on Tuesday at 8:30 p.m. at the San Juan del Bicentenario stadium, for the 14th date of the South American Qualifiers for the Qatar 2022 World Cup, which will be arbitrated by the Uruguayan Andrés Cunha.

The PSG midfielder, from Serie 1 in France, worked for the first time together with his teammates on the field during the tasks carried out at the AFA premises, in Ezeiza, after the success on Friday night against Uruguay (1-0 ), in Montevideo.

Paredes was recovered from the tear in the right quadriceps that he suffered on Thursday, October 14, in the victory against Peru (1-0) at the Monumental Stadium, without being able to add minutes since then in the French team.

According to the intentions of the coach Lionel Scaloni and what he offers in practices until next Tuesday, Paredes would enter in replacement of Guido Rodríguez, who supplanted him against Uruguay.

Meanwhile, the players who had action from the beginning of the match against the “charrúas” performed recovery and stretching exercises, while the rest of the squad, including Lionel Messi, moved on the playing field for 45 minutes.

There, under the orders of the coaching staff, they did technical work with the ball and a reduced soccer block, in which Paredes participated.

As of tomorrow, at the Ezeiza field, where the players are concentrated, the proper preparation for the pitch with Brazil will begin, observing the coach how the evolution of ‘La Pulga’ continues, after the differentiated work he carried out due to the inconvenience in the hamstrings on the left side and pain in the knee, which only allowed him to participate in the last 15 minutes of the match with Uruguay.
