Kein Geloel: ”Thank you Twente, Feyenoord is another top club”

It produces opposite tastes, the scoreless draw against FC Twente. In an empty Grolsch Veste, Feyenoord – and dessert king Dessers in particular – failed to take the win in the final minutes. Bitter, because it was indeed in there. However, this point in Enschede also tastes sweet somewhere.

Because not for the first time this season, Feyenoord’s opponent refuses the footballs, but chooses to close the rows in the back. Quite new for our club: the perpetrator is a sub-topper who plays for European football and who usually like to play football. It says a lot about how Twente views Feyenoord: as a top club. And that’s a big compliment somehow.

In the latest Kein Geloel we focus on the draw. Has Marciano recovered a bit, is Dessers or Linssen the ideal striker and does Toornstra still have to play on the right winger against this kind of bus parkers? And if not, who should give way to a real winger?

Furthermore, Dennis te Kloese is now really the new general manager of Feyenoord. A role he previously played at the Mexican Football Association and LA Galaxy…or is that correct? We dove into his work history for a while and come to a somewhat different conclusion. But whether that is so bad is doubtful…
