Judo: Many medals for the kids at KSC Bushido in Tangstedt

Tangstedt / Harburg. Last weekend the 1st Elephant Cup in Tangstedt instead of. From Harburg dated KSC Bushido were twelve young judoka at the start. It was fought in five age groups, judoka from six federal states were there. And there was a fight on three mats – from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. in the morning. That Geerdts coaching team from KSC had their hands full.

Maximilian Keller was one of the best fighters at his first tournament. He won through against very tough opponents. Only in the final was he stopped by his opponent from Wilhelmshaven. His brother Dennis Keller won a bronze medal in his very strong weight class. It was the first judo tournament for many of the KSC’s youngsters.

At the start for KSC: U7 Jenna Loreen Geerdts (2nd place), Emily-Marie Spendel (2nd place), U9 Jenna Loreen Geerdts (3rd place), Emily-Marie Spendel (3rd place), Emil Seibert ( 2nd place), Maximilian Keller (2nd place), Mara Wilkens (2nd place), Lukas Kocks (3rd place), Greta Störmer (2nd place), Melina-Sophie Spendel (1st place), U11 Dennis Keller (3rd place), Lenn Wilkens (7th place), Till Störmer (5th place).
