Elodie Deschamps, 11, green belt, has just won the silver medal at the departmental criterium in the youngest category – 36 kg, which was held in Pollestres.
Applied, determined and listening to the advice of her trainer Nicolas Desprez, Elodie overwhelmed her opponents until the final but unfortunately lost in this last fight. She nevertheless climbed on the second step of the podium with the feeling of having achieved a good course. The young judokate will continue to train to put all the chances on her side during the next criterium in December.
