The 25-year-old judokate won the gold medal in the under 63 kg category. Lucy Renshall dominated Dutch Sanne Vermeer in the final. This victory allows him to now have three Grand Slams in his career. She won her three Majors this year, and this consecutively. Before her triumph in Abu Dhabi, she had won the Grand Slam judo of Antalya and that of Baku.
Slovenian Andreja Leski and Brazilian Ketleyn Quadros completed the podium with bronze medals in the under 63 kg category in Abu Dhabi.
