Jonathan Taylor guides the Colts to victory over the Bills

The Indianapolis Colts beat the Bills 41-15 on the road thanks to a great performance from running back Jonathan Taylor and losses caused by his defense and special teams.

Jonathan Taylor got 204 yards from scrimmage, 185 land and 19 air, and scored five touchdowns, four by land and one by reception. Additionally, the Colts’ defense sparked three turnovers.

With defeat, heThe Bills lost the AFC East lead to the New England Patriots, who shut out the Atlanta Falcons on Thursday Night Football.

Turnovers

After a 65-yard offensive drive capped off by Taylor’s first touchdown, safety George Odum intercepted a pass that Josh Allen threw in the direction of Gabriel Davis. The steal gave the Colts possession again and Taylor could score again, now on a 23-yard connection with Carson Wentz.

In the second period, the Bills quarterback redeemed his mistake by connecting with Steffon Diggs in the end zone. After a field goal by Mike Badgley, the Indianapolis special teams fumbled that left the Colts at the two-yard line. Taylor took the opportunity to get his third touchdown of the commitment when jumping over the line of scrimmage.

Failed FGs

The first half ended when Tyler Bass, the Bills kicker, attempted a 57-yard field goal, but the ball hit the right post.. Midway through the third period, Bass entered the field again to attempt another field goal; the result was the same, only the ball was deflected to the left side.

Thousand yards

Taylor’s fourth touchdown of the game came on a ten-yard run. with few minutes to play in the third quarter. One play earlier he broke several tackles for a 40-yard gain. Taylor’s performance allowed him to overcome the 1,000-yard barrier in the 2021 season.

Josh Allen’s second interception it happened thanks to cornerback Kenny Moore II taking advantage of the deflection of a pitch aimed at Emmanuel Sanders. This made work easier for the offense and Taylor got his fifth touchdown running down the center of the line.

Allen managed to make the score more decorous by landing his second touchdown connection with Steffon Diggs at the beginning of the last quarter. Badgley, the Colts kicker, hit a 35-yard field goal to increase the lead.

With the party defined, Mitch Trubisky took over from Josh Allen in command of the Bills offense. However, the result was the same when linebacker Zaire Franklin had the third interception of the game.

Whats Next?

After the victory, los Colts will have a tough test in Week 12, as host the Tampa Bay Buccaneers at Lucas Oil Stadium. For its part, the Bills they will have a short week and will play the New Orleans Saints over Thanksgiving at the Caesars Superdome.
