Indonesia immediately appeared fast. The game has only been running for 3 minutes, Indonesia managed to provide a threat.

Witan Sulaeman, who appeared as a left winger, managed to do it to the heart of the opponent’s defense.

He then appeared to release a low pass into the penalty area but the ball was still cleared by the goalkeeper.

But two minutes later, Indonesia was able to take the lead first. Ezra Walian managed to release the bait into the penalty box.

Ezra’s pass then headed home by Ricky Kambuaya and scored.

In the 11th minute, it was Irfan Jaya’s turn to score.

Through a counterattack, the PSS Sleman player received the ball and then faced goalkeeper Yae Phyo Ayng in front of the penalty box.

Irfan calmly released a horizontal kick that made the ball nest to the right side of the Myanmar goal. Indonesia also won 2-0.

Although superior, Garuda squad is not necessarily comfortable in controlling the game. They seem to have occasional trouble suppressing the opponent’s attack.

The national team does not seem to want the opponent to develop the game. Therefore, they try to control the game as long as possible.

However, the national team’s game was interrupted in the 20th minute. The match was stopped for 5 minutes while waiting for the lights in the stadium to light up.

After the match resumed, Indonesia increased Witan Suleaman’s advantage in the 33rd minute.

Receiving a breakthrough bait, Witan dribbled into the penalty box. In the tight control of the opponent, Witan was able to release a shot that led to a goal.

Witan almost scored again when receiving a pass from Ezra in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, the ball from Witan’s shot has not produced a goal because it failed to hit the target.

Regardless of the failure, the national team again tried to attack the enemy’s defense. However, no additional goals were able to be created by the national team until the end of the first half.

After the break, the national team immediately appeared stinging.

An Irfan Jaya kick from inside the penalty box almost resulted in a goal if Yae Phyo Ayng did not swiftly brush off the ball.

In the 50th minute, it was Ezra Walian’s turn to release the threat.

The Persib Bandung player was able to poke the ball from the bait sent by Kambuaya.

Unfortunately, the ball from Ezra’s shot was still wide.

Ezra actually scored in the 54th minute. He scored on a penalty kick after the opposing player’s handsball.

Ezra calmly managed to net the ball into the right side of the Myanmar goal. The national team won 4-0.

Coach Shin Tae-yong then tried to give playing time to some players.

The South Korean coach played Kushedya Yudo, Ahmad Agung, and Ramai Rumakiek.

The three players replaced Irfan Jaya, Ezra Walian, and Rahmat Irianto.

These changes made the national team’s game to be stuck. They have difficulty in building attacks.

In fact, the national team had to concede in the 72nd minute. Myanmar’s first goal was created by Hlaing Bo Bo using a free kick.

Conceded, the national team tried to improve the game to create chances into goals.

However, Indonesia’s attacks are sometimes not optimal.

Several times Muhammad Riyandi and friends were seen making mistakes until the game was taken over by Myanmar.

The attack from Myanmar seemed to trouble Indonesia’s defense. They several times had to fall up and down to thwart the opponent’s chances.

Apart from that, the national team does not want to be in Myanmar’s control. They tried to get up by bombarding the opponent’s defense.

Even so, the national team was not able to convert a number of opportunities into goals. As a result, the national team had to close the match with a 4-1 victory score.
