Huelva TSV classifies five representatives for the absolute Spanish Championship

CD Huelva TSV achieved the classification of five of its representatives for the absolute Spanish Judo Championship, after traveling to Cáceres last weekend as part of the Andalusian team to play the southern sector phase of the Absolute National, where the first three of each weight category qualified for this final, to be held at the beginning of December in Madrid.

Thus, six members of the Huelva club took part in the event, with coaches Santi Mazarío and Almudena Gómez, who traveled as technicians of the FANJYDA (Andalusian Federation of Judo and Associated Disciplines). Garcia tape, in the -48 kilos category, she finished in second position, losing against the Canarian Zuleima Falcón, in a disputed fight. At -60 kilos, Sandro Martín and Juan Delgado They also achieved the classification, landing in second and third position, respectively.



The -66 kg category was once again well represented by the TSV, with Rosendo Laíno, Javier Pérez and Rafael Jiménez fighting at a very high level, and achieving the classification of the first two when contesting the final of that weight. Also noteworthy is the performance of the Granada-born Juan Jose Callejas, who is currently residing and training in Huelva for academic reasons, which did not reach the classification but performed at a high level, finishing fourth in the -81 kilos category.

Apart from the preparation for the absolute Spanish Championship, which will have Huelva representation with the five HuelvaTSV classifieds, this weekend the team will move again to play the Andalusian Championship for children and cadets, on this occasion, in the Malaga town of El Rincón de la Victoria.
