World No. 7 and No. 10 seed, Hubert Hurkacz qualified Thursday for the quarter-finals of the Rolex Paris Masters. The Pole dismissed the German Dominik Koepfer (4-6, 7-5, 6-2), ranked him 58th in the ATP.
In the first set, Hurkacz trailed early, breaking 1-1. In the second, he could have concluded at 5-4, on the service of his opponent, if he had not wasted three set points. Finally, in the third set, two breaks, at 3-2 then 5-2, allowed the Polish player to race to victory.
