Moments of terror for a mother and her two young children. The father and husband, on Tuesday morning, in fact threatened the family with a gun and only his wife’s quick reflexes prevented the situation from escalating. In fact, the woman managed to steal the gun from the man, favored by the latter’s semi-unconscious conditions, managing to escape from the house with the children.
The episode took place in the early hours of the day in Sovizzo and the carabinieri of the Valdagno company intervened on the spot, alerted by the same woman. The military arrived around 7:30 am with the intention of blocking the situation of extreme danger in progress. After rescuing the woman and children, the men of the Arma blocked her husband as he was leaving the house.
The man, realizing what happened, did not resist. For him, a 40-year-old, was arrested for illegal possession of a firearm and aggravated threats. During the subsequent house search, the military then found two hatchets and a baseball bat. All the weapons were seized. The judicial authority, informed of the incident, ordered the association of the 40-year-old in prison in Vicenza.
