grows in women’s basketball with his first …

Puma takes another step in its offensive to attract the female public linked to the sport of the basket. The German brand has launched its first women’s textile collection specialized in basketball, a segment so far dominated by Nike and Under Armor. This move comes months after she signed WNBA star Breanna Stewart as an ambassador.

As part of this collaboration, the athlete has launched her own collection of sneakers, after years wearing and wearing Nike products. Now, Puma has launched its first collection of basketball clothing for girls, and it has done so with the help of June Ambrose, Puma’s creative director specialized in women’s basketball since 2020 and a designer who has participated in video clips of artists such as Jay-Z. This will be his first collection since his arrival at the German brand.

In Spain, Puma has also signed a sponsorship agreement with Movistar Estudiantes. Between January and September, its global sales have grown by 39%, to 5,038 million euros and its profits have reached 302 million, six times more than in the first nine months of 2020.
