Golf legend Woods hopes to return to work after a car accident

World golf legend Tiger Woods wants to return to professional golf at least in part when he has fully recovered from a car accident. Woods suffered a car accident in February this year, in which he suffered a serious leg fracture, and as the golfer himself pointed out, there was a possibility that the leg would have to be amputated.

The 45-year-old golfer has assumed that he will not be able to return to professional sports as before, but still hopes to play golf in some tournaments. “I think it’s realistic to take part in the Professional Golfers’ Association (PGA) tour,” Woods said. “Choose and play a couple of competitions a year. It’s a reality, unfortunately, but there was a time in the hospital when I thought I’d leave with one foot. ”

“I don’t have to compete with the best athletes in the world to enjoy life,” said the golfer. “I can still play golf if my feet are fine. I don’t think I’ll be able to get to the top again. “

Woods was previously forced to undergo several back surgeries, but was able to return in 2019 to win the Masters. The car was caused by speeding, which left Wood unable to restrain himself and hit a tree, severely damaging the front of the car.
