He got 5 medals in national games and participated in the World Championship held in Poland.
The queretano, Carlos Vaca Cordero is the only archery representative in the state to attend the Games Cali-Valle Youth Pan American Games 2021, this discipline will take place from November 26 to 28.
“It is a pride and the truth I am very grateful to the Indereq that lends me the facilities, with my coaches who check me, with my family and my coaches from CNAR,” he said.
Carlos participated in the Pan American Championship of the specialty held in Medellín last May, an event in which he achieved first place in the men’s team recurve event; also in individual male recurve he achieved a third place; with this result he got the place for Mexico in the next continental fair.
Later in the National Games Conade became champion in three modalities, which catapulted him so that his federation determined that the place won in Medellín would be occupied by him.
“When I won the place, I did not know that I had won it, we knew that it is won for the country, it was in a Pan American in Colombia and after the Nationals they told us that whoever won the place would keep it, anyway, I was preparing for a selective process and now I have to train harder and maintain my level, “he said.
The athlete continues to prepare, as his expectations are high for this next debut in the first continental tournament of the youth category.
“Definitely win a medal, both individually, in teams or mixed, the truth is that Mexico it has a very good level so expectations are high ”, he concluded.
