Gimpo Living Gymnasium, donated physical education textbooks to Saesol School |
[더뉴스코리아=김두용 기자] On the 25th, the Gimpo Living Gymnasium, commissioned by the Gimpo City Management Corporation, donated 1,500 instructional materials (shuttlecock) to Saesol School students to promote physical activity.
Gimpo Life Gym, which opened in 2014, has been donating shuttlecocks that can be used among the badminton shuttlecocks that have already been used in order to contribute to the vitalization of sports for the socially underprivileged according to the business agreement signed with Saesol School in 2019.
Saesol School is a special education institution that is in charge of education for kindergarten, elementary, and middle school.
The donated shuttlecock was prepared by collecting the shuttlecocks discarded by citizens after using the gym and manually sorting them to select reusable cocks, which is also meaningful in terms of resource recycling.
Kim Dong-seok, president of Gimpo City Management Corporation, said, “I hope that it will help Saesol School students to make physical activities a daily life, and we will continue to seek various support measures and strive to cooperate and contribute to the local community.”
