Williams Racing announced this Sunday the death of Sir Frank Williams, founder and former team manager, at the age of 79 years.
Sir Frank Williams was admitted to hospital on Friday, but his health was delicate. He died this Sunday surrounded by family and friends.
“Today we pay tribute to such a beloved and inspiring figure. We will miss Frank very much. We ask that all friends and colleagues respect the Williams family’s wishes for privacy at this time, “the team relayed.
He has announced that the Spinal Injury Association will be in charge of receiving the gifts that the fans want to send in recognition of the figure of Williams. “We would appreciate having flowers placed at the entrance to the team’s headquarters in Grove, Oxfordshire,” the team concluded.
