The gang rivalry claimed four lives on Monday, November 29, 2021 in Ermont (Val d’Oise). Around 1:30 p.m., around fifteen young people from Montigny-lès-Cormeilles attacked four teenagers who were going to the Van-Gogh high school, rue du Général-Decaen. High school students were beaten up in front of the facility with baseball bats, punches and kicks.

Stabbed in the right flank

The police having been alerted, on the arrival of the patrol the attackers had spun. Firefighters and doctors from Samu took care of the four victims, aged 15 and 16, one of whom was slightly injured in the right flank after being stabbed. After receiving first aid, the high school students were transported in a relative emergency to the Eaubonne hospital.

While the technical and scientific police were dispatched during the afternoon to take clues, the investigators found, in a manhole near the school, a knife that could be the one used during the assault.

The officials also arrested several young people suspected of having taken part in the violence. The latter had been spotted around 2:45 p.m. at Montigny-Beauchamp station. Aged 15 to 18, they were taken into police custody.

The exact origin of the assault remains to be determined.
