For the sake of a bright future, the Belgian coach gave Eden Hazard a code to withdraw from Real Madrid: Okezone Bola

BRUSSELS – The coach of the Belgian National Team (Timnas), Roberto Martinez, is concerned about Eden Hazard’s increasingly sluggish condition. He also advised Hazard to immediately leave Real Madrid and find the right club to have a better career and future.

This was revealed by Martinez after Belgium confirmed their departure for the Qatar 2022 World Cup. The team nicknamed the Red Devils beat Estonia 3-1 at the King Badaouin Stadium, Brussels, Sunday (11/14/2021) early morning WIB.

As is known, Hazard had a difficult career at Madrid. He was unable to return to his level of play because he was constantly hit by injuries.

Even when Hazard has recovered, it is still difficult to return to his prime form due to not quickly becoming the main choice of coach Carlo Ancelotti. The coach nicknamed Don Carlo prefers Vinicius Junior than the Belgian player.

In the aftermath of this, the 30-year-old has only scored five goals and nine assists in 53 games for Madrid so far. Of course it is a record that is quite concerning for a player who has a big name like Hazard.

Whereas at Chelsea, Hazard experienced a heyday as a field star. Hazard presented two Premier League titles and scored 110 goals in 352 matches during the blue shirt.

Therefore, Martinez impliedly expressed his desire to quickly leave the Santiago Bernabeu. The former Everton coach mentioned the winter transfer window and next summer as a moment for Hazard to take off his Madrid shirt.

“There will be two transfer windows where a lot of things can happen, I hope that Eden Hazard can be fully fit,” Martinez said.

Even so, if in the end his decision remains to choose to play for Madrid, the former Everton coach wants Hazard’s colleagues at the club to provide support for the 30-year-old player. Martinez hopes that Hazard’s comrades at his club will motivate him to return to the level of his game like when he was playing at Stamford Bridge.

“And I hope every player at his club can show the best of himself, because the competition is very big,” continued Martinez.
