The player, the victim’s teammate for PSG and the French team, was taken into custody following the assault on November 4. No charges were brought against her.
The player of the Paris football team SG Aminata Diallo “formally disputes the accusations”, of which she was the subject after the assault to which she and her teammate Kheira Hamraoui were victims on November 4, her lawyer said on Friday. Mourad Battikh in a statement sent to AFP.
“Aminata Diallo deplores the perfectly artificial staging of a rivalry between her and Kheira Hamraoui which would justify her attacking her teammate. This theory does not correspond at all to the true nature of their relationship”, continues the lawyer in this press release. Aminata Diallo was arrested Wednesday and then placed in police custody, before being released Thursday evening without any charge being brought against her.
