FC Bayern: Three unvaccinated stars have probably changed their minds

Will the vaccination dispute at Bayern soon be history? As “The Athletic” reports, three of the five unvaccinated Bayern players are currently reconsidering their decision. Extensive discussions with an immunologist, doctors and teammates are said to have moved them to do so.

It is apparently not ruled out that the stars will be vaccinated during the quarantine period. It is not clear from the report who it is supposed to be.

FCB players Joshua Kimmich, Serge Gnabry, Jamal Musiala, Michael Cuisance and Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting have not yet been vaccinated. The quintet is currently in quarantine again and will therefore miss the Champions League game in Kiev.

FC Bayern: No salary for unvaccinated professionals in quarantine

FC Bayern had apparently recently increased the pressure on the unvaccinated players. According to a “Bild” report, players who have to be quarantined should not receive a salary. The measure should therefore also be enforced retrospectively. Kimmich would have had to forego almost 800,000 euros so far.

When asked about the problem, the long-time chairman of the board, Karl-Heinz Rummenigge, said tellingly at Sky over the weekend: “A topic that annoys the whole club.”

The measures taken by the FCB bosses seem to be working.
