Europa League: Frankfurt must tremble for the round of 16

Oliver Glasner missed the premature group victory in the UEFA Europa League with Eintracht Frankfurt and has to tremble about the direct entry into the round of 16. The German Bundesliga club only scored 2-2 on Thursday after a poor performance against Royal Antwerp and needs at least one point in the group final on December 9 at Fenerbahce Istanbul to get the ticket for the round of the last 16 teams.

Daichi Kamada (13th) gave Eintracht the lead, but Radja Nainggolan (33rd) and Ally Samatta (88th) turned the game around. “Joker” Goncalo Paciencia (94th) saved at least one point.

ÖFB team defender Martin Hinteregger was injured in Frankfurt, Stefan Ilsanker was only on the bench. Second in the group is Olympiacos after beating Fenerbahce 1-0.

The match between Eintracht Frankfurt and Royal Antwerp ended in a draw. The two teams separated 2-2.

Leverkusen already through

League rival Bayer Leverkusen is already in the round of 16. The Werkself made a late turn against Celtic Glasgow. ECL: Feynoord on, embarrassment for Tottenham

In the Conference League, Gernot Trauner and Feyenoord Rotterdam advanced to the second round after a 2-2 draw at Slavia Prague. The Czechs fought for second place against Union Berlin. The Germans won 1-0 at Maccabi Haifa without the suspended Christopher Trimmel.

The game between Slavia Prague and Feyenoord Rotterdam ended without a winner. Both teams could write goals on their accounts.

Tottenham was embarrassed. The Spurs lost 2-1 at NS Mura in Slovenia and now have to go to the second round, as Stade Rennes has already fixed first place. Heinz Lindner won with FC Basel at Kairat Almaty 3-2, the Swiss finish with a draw to win the group.
