Estepona hosts the last test of the Provincial Badminton Circuit that will bring together more than a hundred participants

The councilor attached to the Sports and Youth delegation, José Antonio Bandera, the representative of the Estepona Badminton Club, Lucas Carmona, and the member of the charity association ‘Ubuntu’, Antonio Rodríguez, have presented today the last test of the Provincial Badminton Circuit to be held in the town this Saturday, November 27, and in which more than a hundred participants will meet.

In this regard, the municipal manager has highlighted the significant growth that this sport is experiencing in the city “thanks to the important work being carried out by both the Municipal Badminton School”, which is managed by the ’24 Hours of Sports Foundation ‘, and the Estepona Badminton Club. In addition, the support work being carried out by the City Council for the benefit of minority sports.

Likewise, the mayor has valued the solidarity character that this sporting event will have, since the solidarity platform ‘Ubuntu’ will install a bar for the sale of drinks and will put bracelets on sale. In addition, it will perform a charity raffle to raise funds for charity, specifically, will be allocated to the Hospital Classroom of the Maternal and Child Hospital of Malaga.

The competition, which will be held at the El Carmen indoor sports center, starting at 09:30, is organized by the Estepona City Council and the Estepona Badminton Club, and has the collaboration of the Andalusian Badminton Federation and the Malaga Provincial Council .
