District finals in school judo in Münchberg

District finals in school judo in Münchberg

In the dojo of the 1. JC Münchberg, judo district school chairman Dieter Sippel welcomed the participating school judo teams from Upper Franconia.

As in the previous year, three judo teams from the Schiller-Gymnasium Hof fought for the district title after exciting arguments and are therefore entitled to start at the state finals in Munich.
The judoka, trained and supervised by the judo teacher Hildegard Klust from Hof, were able to assert themselves in their age groups again this year and leave the competition behind.

In competition class III, the girls from Hof initially defeated the Christian-Wolfrum-Mittelschule Hof 5-0. With the same result, the competitors of the economic and scientific high school in Bayreuth had to admit defeat.

The Schiller boys in competition class III were also able to call up strong performances and retained the upper hand in round one against the Christian-Wolfrum-Mittelschule Hof 5-0. In the end, against WWG Bayreuth there was a 4: 1 success on the lists and against the hosts, the Gymnasium Münchberg kept the Hofers clean again and won 5: 0.

The girls in competition class II had no opponent and thus became winners without a fight.
