Within the Singles ‘D’ category, those who got their ticket to the next round, after showing a perfect step in the contest, were José Luis Arrenquín and Jesús Óscar Rodríguez, which earned them to enter as seeds one and two.

Along with them, Felipe Sahagun, Carlos Galindo, Rodrigo Morales, Javier Franco, Marcelino Nieto and Marco Antonio Ávila, wore their best game, which also allowed them to advance to the quarterfinals.

Rodrigo Morales had to play two important duels on the last day of the round robin, in which he beat Cristian Osuna 6-1 and Benito Mellado 6-2, to define his place in the next phase.
