Dalvin Cook will have MRI after shoulder injury

Los Vikings are involved in the postseason discussion and much of their playoff aspirations are in the legs of Dalvin Cook. Unfortunately for Mike Zimmer, the immediate future of the running back is uncertain.

The Minnesota head coach reported that Cook will undergo an MRI to determine the severity of a shoulder injury suffered during the third quarter of the game between Vikings and 49ers.

Ian Rapoport, de NFL Network, noted that the Florida State graduate’s injury is a dislocation of the joint and the medical study is intended to determine whether the running back will be able to see action for the game in week 13 or will have to be deactivated.

Before leaving the game, Cook had 10 carries for 39 yards. and its greatest contribution was by air ─six receptions, 64 yards.

Following the departure of the 26-year-old running back, the Vikings’ ground duties were shared by Alexander Mattison y Kene Nwangwu, who combined to eight carries, 28 yards and a touchdown.
