Chelsea player report card when slaughtering Juventus: James is addicted to scoring goals, Werner is great!

Bola.net – Chelsea managed to beat Juventus in the third matchday of the Champions League group stage, Wednesday (11/24/2021) early morning. Playing at Stamford Bridge, the Blues came out victorious with a score of 4-0.

Trevoh Chalobah’s goals in this match were scored by Trevoh Chalobah in the 25th minute, Reece James in the 55th minute, Callum Hudson-Odoi in the 58th minute, and Timo Werner in the 90+5 minute.

This result makes Chelsea now at the top of Group H with 12 points, the same as Juventus. However, the Blues excel head to head from Juventus.

Edouard Mendy is not much of a threat from Juventus players. Even so, he still appeared quite solid in goal.

Mendy made a pretty slick save in the 83rd minute. He saved Weston McKennie’s shot.

Trevoh Chalobah guarded the Chelsea defense well. He succeeded in turning off Alvaro Morata’s movement on the front lines.

Not only that, Chalobah also scored the opening goal for Chelsea’s victory. The 22-year-old defender scored against Juventus in the 25th minute.

Without Thiago Silva at the heart of defence, Chelsea might have conceded. Silva was noted to have thwarted Alvaro Morata’s golden opportunity in the first half.

Overall, Silva played well. The Brazilian defender recorded one clear tackle, one clearance and one intercept.

Antonio Rudiger also played well. The German defender played a role in the process of creating goals from Trevoh Chalobah.

From a corner kick scheme, Rudiger provided a header to Chalobah. In addition, Rudiger also recorded two shots even though they were not right on target.

Reece James played as Chelsea’s right wing in the match against Juventus. The English defender was very active in helping the attack to create goals.

James found the net for Juventus in the 56th minute with a right footed shot. He had five shots throughout the game.

N’Golo Kante had bad luck. The French midfielder suffered an injury so he had to be pulled out in the 37th minute.

Kante’s performance is not too outstanding. However, he had one shot before leaving the field.

Jorginho put in a brilliant performance in the match against Juventus. He dictated the Blues’ play from midfield.

Jorginho also performed well defensively. The Italian made four clean tackles and five interceptions.

Hakim Ziyech performed quite well in this match. The Moroccan player was seen several times troubled the Juventus defense.

Ziyech also contributed to the creation of Chelsea’s fourth goal. Timo Werner’s cross was successfully completed.

Callum Hudson-Odoi is believed to be a starter against Juventus. He also paid for the trust of the coach by scoring Chelsea’s third goal.

Despite playing well, Hudson-Odoi did not play fully. The 21-year-old was pulled off in the 76th minute.

Christian Pulisic plays as a false nine. Unfortunately Pulisic’s contribution in the attacking phase of Chelsea was not so prominent.

Pulisic doesn’t really cause a problem in the Juventus defense area. He didn’t shoot so he was pulled off in the 72nd minute.

Saul Niguez has another chance to play from Thomas Tuchel. He came on for Jorginho in the 77th minute.

Saul is expected to be a player who can distribute the ball well. However, the Spaniard was unable to make an impact from midfield.
