Carlos Alcaraz misses Davis Cup: Top Spanish talent tested positive for COVID-19

For Alcaraz, who triumphed at the Next Gen ATP Finals in Milan almost two weeks ago, it is the bitter end of a very successful season in which the young Spaniard improved from 141st place to 32nd place in the world rankings.

Alcaraz is doing “very well” according to his own statements, but he is very sad not to be able to compete for his country in the prestigious Davis Cup in Madrid.

Spain will face Ecuador at the start on Friday.
