In the Italian night, 10 games of the 2021-2022 NBA season were played and the emotions were certainly not lacking. Let’s find out the final results and the best performances of the day.
A spin that hurts the one between the Chicago Bulls and the Indiana Pacers, with the guests imposing themselves with a resounding 77-109. Match never in question, with the Bulls never really entering the field, the Pacers suffer and do not give the impression for 40 minutes of being able to reopen the games. Top scorer Domantas Sabonis with 21 points and also 11 rebounds. They fall, but this is not such sensational news, even the Washington Wizards, who give 103-109 to the Charlotte Hornets in the Eastern Conference head-to-head. First time with the Wizards to make the game, but Charlotte comes out at a distance who first stretches and, in the final, avoids Washington’s comeback. Top scorer Terry Rozier with 32 points.
The Brooklyn Nets surpass the Bulls in the standings, beating the Cleveland Cavaliers 112-117 and take home the third consecutive success. Yet for three quarters of the match the Cavs dominate, try to run away. But in the fourth quarter the Nets change pace and despite a couple of blazes from Cleveland they win easily thanks to 27 points from Kevin Durant and double double from James Harden, who closes with 14 points and 14 assists. There are five successes in a row for the Atlanta Hawks, surpassing 113-101 the Oklahoma City Thunder. Against his former team Danilo Gallinari scores 11 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, but above all he begins to review that playoff area that was very far away until recently. Game decided in the second half, when the Hawks change pace and leave no chance to OCT. Top scorer Trae Young with 30 points.
Victory for the Boston Celtics who beat the Houston Rockets 108-90. After a first half in equilibrium the Rockets collapse and Boston runs away and never looks back. Thanks to Jayson Tatum, who closes with 30 points, but also to Al Horford’s double double with 11 points and 11 rebounds. Victory almost on the siren for the Memphis Grizzlies who beat the Utah Jazz 118-119. It is, in fact, Jackson Jr.’s triple six seconds from the siren that makes the difference in the big match of the East conference. However, Ja Morant’s 32 points are also decisive.
In the other matches of the day victory for the Minnesota Timberwolves at the New Orleans Pelicans for 96-110, with the guests always in control and 28 points from Karl-Anthony Towns; success for the Milwaukee Bucks, who beat the Orlando Magic 123-92 in a match where they even touch the +51 advantage and with seven players in double figures. The Phoenix Suns win 111-115 at the San Antonio Spurs, with 23 points from Devin Booker, while in the last match of the day the Philadelphia 76ers return to racing and do so by beating the Sacramento Kings 94-102. Top scorer of the day Tyrese Maxey with 24 points.
