France Télévisions announces that French basketball fans will be able to see the matches of their women’s and men’s teams in the major tournaments on the public service.
France Télévisions will broadcast the matches of the national teams until the FIBA World Cup 2023. An agreement has been reached, including the rights to broadcast not only the FIBA World Cup 2023, which will be played in the Philippines, Japan and Indonesia from August 25 to September 10, 2023, but also its Qualifiers, which will begin at the end of the week. France will launch their qualifying campaign this Friday November 26 against Montenegro, then they will travel to Hungary for their second match on Monday November 29.
France Télévisions has also obtained the broadcasting rights for the FIBA Women’s World Cup 2022, which will take place from September 22 to October 1, 2022 in Sydney (Australia), as well as for the Qualifying Tournaments for the FIBA Women’s World Cup which will have take place from February 10 to 13, 2022. France will be engaged in Belgrade, where it will be opposed to China, Nigeria and Mali.
France Télévisions will also broadcast the FIBA Women’s EuroBasket 2023.
The matches will be broadcast on one of the following three channels: France 2, France 3 and France 4.
