The Sixers haven’t gone so far from a home disappointment against Orlando. Everything was played on the line in the money time, while Joel Embiid (4/16) did not make his best percentage game for his second game of recovery.
Tyrese Maxey and Embiid didn’t shake to convert their throws and Philadelphia was able to continue their comeback without shining.
Even if the Sixers dominated for most of the meeting, the Magic were able to come back to the score in the 3rd quarter and even went ahead on the scoreboard (62-64).
But Phila did not crack and regained his advantage at the end of the 3rd quarter to never lose it again. Well almost, since Orlando is tied 93-93 but the money-time is mastered by Phila who does not miss his throws despite the pressure!
During this match, Jalen Suggs unfortunately broke his thumb and will be out until further notice.
