TRIBUNBALI.COM, MANGUPURA – Bali United U-18 won the Elite (EPA) Liga 1 Indonesia U-18 title after winning from Persib Bandung U-18 with a score of 2-0 in the final match which took place at Si Jalak Harupat Stadium, Bandung Regency, Thursday 25 November 2021.
Bali United U-18 coach Pasek Wijaya managed to fulfill his promise to bring the trophy home to the Island of the Gods.
“Thank you for the prayers and support of all Semeton, finally we were able to fight and bring home the EPA League 1 U-18 champion trophy to Bali,” said Pasek Wijaya.
He said the players’ struggle was not easy, starting from the preliminary round to the final.
Players have to struggle every day with a double match match system making it difficult.

“In the preliminary phase it was quite tough. One heavy group, there were Persija Jakarta, Barito Putera, Persipura Jayapura, and PS Tira as former EPA U-16 League champions,” said Made Pasek Wijaya.
After entering the top 8, they met the three best teams.
However, Bali United players are already confident because they performed well against a number of big teams in the preliminary round.
