Badminton adds two silvers to the four medals that El Salvador has

Cali (Colombia), Nov 29 (EFE) .- Badminton in the men’s double mixed and individual categories contributed two silver medals to the four medals that El Salvador has won so far in the first edition of the Pan American Games. Junior that are disputed in the Colombian city of Cali.

The two bronze medals went to the Mexican Luis Armando Montoya Navarro and the Brazilian Jonathan Santos de Souza.

In the women’s individual final, Canadian Rachel Jun Ling Chan claimed the gold medal by defeating American Natalie Chi, 1-2 in the decisive game, who took silver.

The third step of the podium was shared by the Peruvian Inés Lucía Castillo Salazar and the Brazilian Juliana Viana Vieira. EFE
