Animar has a prize this year at the Zurich Maratón de San Sebastián. The organization of the race this Sunday, in collaboration with FNAC Donostia, seeks that different cultural groups join the party. And a sweet prize is offered in the form of a 1,000 euro voucher to consume at FNAC.
To participate it is necessary to send an email to [email protected]. «We seek that different musical groups, brass bands, choirs, comparsas, batucadas … participate and that culture is also the protagonist in this sporting event. The objective is also that the runners and the public enjoy different animation points during the route, ”explains Iñigo Olaizola, one of those responsible for organizing the marathon.
After receiving the different requests via email, the race organization will place each participating group at a different point on the route. “And it will be the runners who choose the winner.” How? After participating, as usual, you will receive a form with different questions. And this year, one of the questions will be to know at what point they felt the animation the most. That is, the members of the jury will be the participants.
The effort of marathoners is always worthy of admiration. “We also want the corridor to perceive the support of the city. We seek, always asking that sanitary measures be complied with, that on Sunday there is a party in Donostia. And that people support from the street. If we also get both athletes and the public to have a good time thanks to the different animation points, better than better ”, continues Olaizola. The prize of 1,000 euros at FNAC is very sweet. “Runners are sure to reward originality and intensity.” Animar has a prize!
Small Marathon, on Saturday
Anyone who wishes can sign up to participate in the Zurich Donostia Marathon (10K and 42,195 kilometers) until tomorrow. And the deadline to sign up for the Maratoi Txiki is also open until tomorrow, on Saturday afternoon at the Mini-Stadium.
The registration fee is three euros and participants will receive a commemorative medal. The tests will begin at 4:00 p.m. with the children (born in 2008 and 2009; 1,200 meters) and will continue with the fry (2010 and 2011; 700 meters), with the youngest (2012 and 2013; 400 meters) and with the pre-benjamins ( 2014 and 2015; 250 meters).
