Alex Caruso key piece for the return of the Bulls

It is true that the floodlights in Chicago point to what the spectacular Zach LaVine and veteran DeMar DeRozan do night after night, who bear a good part of the responsibility that the Bulls now march as the team with the best record in the East with 8 -3 tied with the Wizards.

But, in these renewed Bulls, there is a piece that has fitted perfectly and his work has also been important at this start of the season, it is Alex Caruso, whom many miss in Los Angeles.

Caruso has understood his role perfectly with the Bulls and the results are in sight, a fundamental part of Billy Donovan’s rotation and as shown by his performance on Wednesday against Dallas, where he scored six steals, in addition to 16 points.

Something to highlight is that Caruso is the NBA leader in the robbery department with 2.6 per game, a fact that draws attention because he does it coming from the bench. His 8.5 points per game is the second-best average of his career, and his 49.2 shooting from the field is his highest record in the NBA.

There’s a long way to go, but Caruso, who the Lakers didn’t want to keep, is finding a new home in Chicago and helping the Bulls be considered a playoff-aspiring team again.
