A sub-13 level

The Club del Mar organized the Galician Under-13 Badminton Championship, an event in which the Athlos Club participated with four of its homegrown players. Paula Casas, Lucía Cid, Adrián Seijo and David Casas traveled to Coruña, accompanied by coach Sara Ezquerro.

The balance, more than positive, by winning a runner-up and two bronzes. Thus, in the women’s doubles table, Paula and Lucía took the silver medal, after losing only in the final to the local tandem formed by Sara del Castillo and Inés Poncela (21-15 / 18-21-14 ). Also in doubles, but male, Adrián and David achieved the bronze medal.

The other podium was individual and had the signature of Paula Casas, who fell in the semifinal against Inés Poncela, the later champion, in three sets (21-11 / 8-21 / 18-21).

This Autonomous Sub-13 was the preamble to the Spanish Championship of the category that will be played in Ibiza between the 10th and 12th of next December.
