Background: It was recently announced that the city did not have a suitable plot of land for expansion. The original and preferred FC plan to advance the expansion on the Gleueler Wiesen (including the youth training center) has been dragging on for seven years because various reports have prevented the start of construction and promises made by politicians are not kept (BILD reported).
“This is a structural issue on which we are not getting anywhere,” says Wolf, annoyed, “I think that is a massive mistake. That puts us at a considerable disadvantage in competition. Wolf: “There are people who are demanding that Reker be dismissed from the advisory board. I can understand it, but it doesn’t get us anywhere. We must not harden the fronts. It is now time to set an example and turn your words into deeds. “
Finance boss Alexander Wehrle (46) also attacked the city: “We are invited to appointments and what happens? Nothing! We have been working professionally on the expansion topic for seven years. We have the feeling that FC is no longer wanted within the city limits. We need a clear statement about the expansion of the city. There is no ‘keep it up’ at this stele!
