Wilstermann and Real Potosí hurt each other with a draw

Each one with their own particular struggle, the 2-2 draw between Real Potosí and Wilstermann, recorded last night at the Víctor Agustín Ugarte stadium, only hurt their goals.

Wilstermann hoped to add the three points in the Imperial Villa in order to establish himself in the qualifying zone; However, with the tie, he was unable to move away from the teams seeking an international award, despite remaining in the seventh box with 35 points.

In the case of Real Potosí, he was looking for a victory that would allow him to get closer to Blooming and leave the indirect relegation zone. But the tie keeps him two points behind the Santa Cruz Academy, which just played today (20:30) against Oriente Petrolero, which if they won it would move away even further.

The match

The Aviator was smart last night. He resisted the onslaught of Real Potosí very well, who tried to drown him in the first minutes, but did not immediately open the scoring.

Real Potosí disturbed Arnaldo Giménez’s goal, but not enough to take advantage.

Léiner Escalante was the most incisive. At 6’PT he finished off centimeters from the goal and at 13’PT he demanded Giménez to reject the ball, after a free kick.

Lila’s attack force gradually decreased in revolutions and allowed Wilstermann to grow, who had some approaches as a shot that Carlos López sent at the corner kick (15’PT).

After the pressure, Wilstermann had his reward with Cristian Chávez’s goal, at 28’PT.

The play was started by Patricio Rodríguez and ended at the feet of Chávez, who beat a defender and the goalkeeper with his shot.

The celebration did not last long, because three minutes later (31’ST) Escalante achieved the tie.

Yecerotte enabled Escalante, who beat Maximiliano Ortiz and finished near the penalty area to beat Giménez.

In addition, the volume of the game grew for both teams, so the game could be for anyone.

Escalante put Real Potosí ahead at 37’ST. A free kick center was cleared by Maxi Ortiz, but the ball returned to the area where Escalante finished first to defeat Giménez for the 2-1 set.

But Wilstermann did not give up and at 44’ST he achieved the tie, after a free kick that “Pato” Rodríguez charged, headed by Alejando Meleán de palomita, for the final 2-2.
