Werder Bremen – Heidenheim 3-0 thanks to Marvin Ducksch and Ultras – Bundesliga

With the Ultras behind them and thanks to top striker Marvin Ducksch (27), Werder is back on track. Crisis averted!

3-0 (0-0) against Heidenheim. After the bankruptcies against HSV (0: 2) and in Dresden (0: 3) another victory for Bremen.

For the first time since the beginning of the corona pandemic, Werder’s hardcore fans are returning to the east curve of the Weserstadion thanks to the new 2G rule and whipping their own team forward.

Finally a great atmosphere in Werder’s living room again! After 587 days of waiting, the Ultras are back. And you can feel that – especially after the break!

A two-minute double strike makes victory clear. Decisive man as so often: Ducksch, who is involved in all goals and lets the Ultras romp!

Matchwinner Ducksch after the game: “A huge compliment to everyone who was there. You pushed us crazy. “

50.Minute: Ducksch’s free kick into the penalty area. Marco Friedl is spot on and pushes the ball into the goal. Shortly afterwards, Ducksch (5th goal of the season) also hits himself, making the one-two perfect (52nd)!

After Ducksch’s cross, Heidenheim’s Denis Thomalla stumbles the ball into his own goal to make it 3-0 (65th).

Werder only has to tremble in front of Tim Kleindienst. He hits the post in the first half and even heads into Werder’s goal in the 54th minute. But hits don’t count because the Heidenheim striker is offside.

Thanks to ultra-return and Ducksch, Werder celebrates the second home win of the season in front of around 30,000 fans – and can take a deep breath …
