The mainstay of the Washington line sprained his knee.

Bad news for the club from the federal capital, which will lose one of the major players in his attack.

Guard Brandon Scherff sprained the medial collateral ligament in his knee during the game against Atlanta.

According to ESPN, the injury will make Scherff unavailable for 2-3 weeks.

Scherff was a four-round Pro Bowler between 2016 and 2020, and was honored with his first All Pro selection last year. He was selected in the first round of the 2015 draft upon leaving Iowa.

The Football Team must travel to face the Saints on their homeland for Week 5. The franchise has a balanced record of 2 wins and 2 losses after the success against the Falcons, despite the loss of starting quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick.
