Cardenales de Lara was unbeatable in his first five games, but he is not confident and continues to strengthen himself for the battle for the title. This Saturday they activated their favorite duo, Ildemaro Vargas and Juniel Querecuto.
The infielders, emblems of Larense success, joined the roster for Héctor Rodríguez and Josmar Cordero prior to the commitment against Magallanes.
Juniel is returning to the twilight arena for the first time since the 2018-2019 season and hopes to pick things up right where he left off, with an MVP performance.

Vargas, for his part, hopes to repeat the performance of the past contest when he hit .321 and was key to the Cardinals’ classification. This year he played 34 MLB games between D-backs, Cubs and Pirates.
Debut postponed
“Los compadres”, as the Larense fans know Vargas and Querecuto, had planned to debut this Saturday in Barquisimeto against Magallanes.
However, the rain got in his way and caused the suspension of the match. A new date will be announced shortly.
The red birds will face the electric ones on Sunday but in Valencia.
