Valderrama celebrates the Guinness speed record in a par 5: 24.75 seconds !!!

In one of those challenges that the European Tour has driven since Keith Pelley became CEO, Valderrama applauded a Guinness record. It was achieved by the quartet formed by the South African Wilco Nienaber, the American Sean Crocker, the Danish Nicolai Hojgaard and the Australian Min Woo Lee on hole 4 of the Guadiaro course, a par 5 of 501 yards (457 meters) that they dispatched in 24.75 seconds .

The challenge was not easy. They had to beat the 27.88 that the quartet formed by Tom Lovelady, Steven Jaeger, Lanto Griffin and Andrew Yun had achieved in February 2018 in Palm Spring, in an act that also served as an introduction in society to these four young people who were rookies on the PGA Tour.

Those did it the first time, the new record holders spent two hours to get it. Finally, Nienaber, the biggest puncher on the circuit, with drives that sometimes peer over 400 meters, hit the nth straight drive, Crocker played a precise iron in the second 14 at two meters from the flag and Lee holed. After an exhaustive review of the video, this time was determined by which the European circuit once again takes the lead in this unique challenge. Another reason to pique beyond the Ryder Cup.
