This weekend, the Pink City is going into Halloween mode. Here are our ideas for outings and activities, in Toulouse and in the metropolitan area, around this fashion from the United States.
Discovery rally and canoeing
The Granhota leisure agency offers its discovery rallies, city games and Natura quest on the theme of the pumpkin, during three dates: Friday 29th, Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st October. Halloween snacks and surprise prizes for those who come in disguise will be on the menu in addition to the activities.

Karaoke night
The Karioka, bar and karaoke box, had to close its doors when it opened, in March 2020. It’s this Japanese-inspired place which goes into Halloween mode, all weekend. Come in costume and you will be entitled to a special drink!
The program at the African Safari zoo
Are you interested in a monster hunt? For that, you will have to look for Lili, the bat, and find the missing animals (supplement of 2 euros to be expected in addition to the price of the entry). Every day, the sea lions Nelly, Nora and Cléo will make you vibrate, at 11:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. Halloween will be celebrated by the animals: each afternoon, the coatis, lemurs, porcupines, tapirs and tigers will be entitled to their thematic meal.
This week-end, you will be able to observe the barn owl in flight, an exceptional moment in autumn. It’s at 12:15 p.m., 2:15 p.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Halloween at the museum
Museums have racked their brains to offer quality entertainment to visitors. Direction the Augustinians, rue de Metz, for a special day, this Sunday. We will start, at 11 am, with a ghost and zombie hunt (from 5 years old, price from 8 euros). At 5.30 p.m., there will be the invasion of zombies through a walk-show (for 8-17 year olds, price of 8 euros). And at 9 p.m., the over 15s will be thrown into the middle of a scary course populated by zombies (prices from 8 to 15 euros).
The Augustins Museum offers “Halloween courses” during all the holidays, with photo workshops, theaters, make-up and disguise. At last, the Museum offers her perfect makeup sessions for the occasion, while ghosts will invade le Castelet from the former Saint-Michel prison, Sunday …
With the Gallic origins of Halloween
30 minutes south of Toulouse, in the direction of the Pyrenees, the Gaulois Village, located in the town of Rieux-Volvestre (Haute-Garonne), get into the spirit of Halloween during all school holidays.
The objective of the park during these “16 days of Samonios” is to go to the origins of Halloween. Origins… Gallic, of course! “The Gallic Village has chosen to evoke the origins of this Anglo-Saxon festival which, in reality, is a Gallic festival called Samonios or Samain”, he indicates.
On the menu for the All Saints’ Day holidays: demonstrations of Gallic crafts, archery activities for 4-14 year olds, a special Halloween quiz and workshop for the manufacture of Gallic objects of the time (coin, leather object, brass jewelry…).

Giant treasure hunt for young detectives
Who made Lucifer Malefou, the prankest boy in the Academy of Monsters disappear? This is the mysterious case that you are going to have to solve on two courses to choose from, in Saint-Sernin and Capitole and for 3-6 year-olds and 7-12 year-olds.
Armed with a game book and dressed in your best disguises, you will question the neighborhood merchants and solve horrific puzzles to identify the culprit among the 12 suspects. This type of large survey is being organized simultaneously in 12 cities in France. Treats and goodies await you at the end of the game to debrief the investigation.
Mamalloween au Mama Shelter
Sunday October 31, Mama Shelter Toulouse offers a day under the sign of Halloween according to its principles: the Mamalloween ! The prestigious downtown venue offers workshops for children, “Trick or Treat”, make-up, and a movie at the Cinémama on the theme of Halloween for children during the day.
Kids party, brunch and free cocktail for disguised people will be set up. For adults, the evening will run from 9 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. with a « Halloween Party » hosted by DJ Jordane.
A disguised golf competition
The Golf de Garonne organizes, in partnership with the companies Koop Avocats and Alitor, the Halloween competition. It’s this Sunday October 31 with a 9-hole course in a 2-person scramble. And the direction of the golf course promises a “premium for the best disguise”.
Creation of pumpkins at Galeries Lafayette
Mother in Town, the “Kid friendly” address site in the Pink City, will be present at 5e floor of Galeries Lafayette and will organize workshops to create pumpkins in vegetable dyes and make-up. It’s Saturday, October 30, 2021 from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. On Saturday November 6, 2021, however, it will be a Kapla construction workshop, still on the theme of Halloween.

A cooking workshop
The Cuisineasy structure organizes Halloween workshops. The sessions are often already full but there were still places, at the beginning of the week, for Friday October 29 (12-16 years old), for the parent-child workshop on Saturday 30, from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. (with production a pumpkin soup with vanilla and 4 spices, a Halloween chicken, a “jack O’Lanterne” risotto with gouda and a Halloween banoffee and bloody finger’s) and lunch (12 h-1:30 p.m.).
