Tirtosentono/Van der Aar to last four Dutch Open badminton

Badminton players Alyssa Tirtosentono and Imke van der Aar have secured a place in the semifinals of the Dutch Open. The Dutch duo was too strong for Jessica Hopton and Jessica Pugh, 14-21, 21-12 and 21-15, who had already received two walkovers in Almere.

Tirtosentono and Van der Aar now face Johanna Magnusson and Clara Nistad from Sweden.

Later in the day, Debora Jille and Cheryl Seinen try to reach the last four of the women’s doubles.
