KOMPAS.com – The men’s singles badminton player, Shesar Hiren Rhustavito, admitted that he was tense when facing Taiwan’s representatives in the 2020 Thomas Cup group stage.
The Indonesian men’s badminton team underwent an intense match against Taiwan in the final match of Group A of the 2020 Thomas Cup at Ceres Arena, Aarhus, Denmark, Wednesday (13/10/2021).
The winner must be determined through the third men’s singles duel played in the last match after the 2-2 draw.
A total of two points for Indonesia were obtained thanks to the wins of Anthony Sinisuka Ginting and Jonatan Christie.

Indonesia finally came out victorious after Shesar Hiren Rhustavito defeated Chi Yu Jen through a three-game battle.
Armed with a strong mentality, Shesar won 16-21, 21-18 and 21-19 within 73 minutes of the game.
Shesar’s victory also ensured that Indonesia qualified for the quarter-finals as winners of Group A.
This is not the first time Shesar has been the decisive factor in Indonesia’s victory. In the second match of Group A, Shesar also ensured Indonesia’s 3-2 victory over Thailand.
However, Shesar admitted that he was tense when he faced Chi Yu Jen.
