The season of the archery section of the Asgu starts well, since the numbers are in clear progression: there are about fifteen archers and archers of all ages. The youngest is 12 years old (the minimum required), while the oldest is 66 years old (but there is no maximum!).
The club has its own covered shooting range, since it operates in the old wood dryer, located rue Vauban, a long building which allows for different lengths of shooting. But the Archers also practice outdoors, as this summer at the stadium on the coast in Bouillot, owned by the Asgu omnisports, where many people have come to discover this sport.
Alain Genre, the president, has other projects, such as blowpipes and darts, soon on the program. In the meantime, the training continues, under the direction of the four club leaders, who provide their technical advice, archery does not support the lack of precision.
Sessions punctuated by the security manager, everyone waiting for their whistle, signal indicating that everyone has fired, to go and retrieve their arrows.
