The Mont-sur-Marchienne Badminton tournament attracted more than 320 players in two days! – Local television from Charleroi and its region – Thuin – Chimay

“The club has been in existence for 50 years and the first edition of the tournament was organized very quickly. So I would say for over forty years!”, explains Pascal Colmonts when we ask him how long the event has existed.

For two days, more than 320 players from more than fifteen different clubs competed at the Hall omnisport de Mont-sur-Marchienne. Among them, there was the youngest player, Jules, 9 years old and Madeleine, 60 years older! Two different profiles but the same passion, that of badminton, connects them!

The Mont-sur-Marchienne Badminton club has again enjoyed great success by offering its tournament, which saw its season open to an influx of young players within its infrastructure. Badminton in Mont-sur-Marchienne therefore has a bright future ahead!
